General Information Traces of Tiger Retirement Community is a full service retirement center designed to provide the mature adult with living accomodations and other essential services best suited for the extra attention they may require during the course of their day. Located in Tiger, Georgia, the facility is a short distance from shopping, churches, hospitals, and physician's offices. Licensed as a Personal Care Home by the State of Georgia, Traces of Tiger consists of two individualized buildings: Traces of Tiger I which offers independent living, and Traces of Tiger II which is an assisted-living facility. We are located in the northeast corner of Georgia, an area known nation-wide for it's retirement ratings. Ranked #20 out of 100 by both Money Guide from the editors of Money Magazine and Rosenburg's 50 Fabulous Places to retire in America. You can travel laurel and rhododendron banked roads in an area richly developed for those who have the time to enjoy museums, specialty shops, art and antiques. Food, theater, music, hobby and recreation opportunities also abound in this land.
Here you will find a "sportsman's paradise surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains and flanked by the beautiful Chattooga River. You will be right down the road from some of the most beautiful golf courses in Georgia and lakes Rabun, Burton, Seed and Tallulah are just a short drive away.
At Traces of Tiger, residents can enjoy a
rewarding independent lifestyle with the assurance and knowledge that a
professionally trained staff is available for additional assistance when
they need it - for example - assistance in areas of nutrition,
medication, bathing and dressing. Additionally, three meals are provided to each resident on a daily basis under the direction of a Staff Dietitian. A licensed nurse is on call and 24 hour access to staff is afforded each resident. Traces of Tiger is not a nursing home but
quite simply is a place where mature adults can continue to live life to
the fullest - their daily needs and well-being provided for in a way
which allows them extended independence, privacy, security and
companionship.
